Dorian’s #1 Villain of 2012 and quite possibly every single year leading up to it…

Us Creative folk are a dastardly lot. Some of us have a tendency to come up with really cool ideas, and then keep them to ourselves due to fear that no one will like them…

Oh wait, that’s just me.

I have waited far too long to give this incredibly large Elf a chance to be heard. As you know, he finally got that chance in 2012, but is still holding quite the grudge, and rightly so.

This all changes in 2013.

My #1 Hero overall of 2012 is my own Creation, Dorian TheLock (Pronounced Thee-Lock) star of the Mini Comic, MY MONSTER.

Dorian’s the fucking man (Well, Elf actually but you get the idea). 
He was created when I decided I wanted to Self Publish my own Comix many, many years ago. For numerous reasons he remained in sketchbooks and the back of my mind.

Well that all changed in 2012 when Dorian saw print for the first time ever, and come Spring of this year he will be back in your face on a bi-weekly basis…

But I’ll get to those plans soon, cuz next up is Dorian’s Number One Villain of ALL TIME!!!

The award for Best DCUniverse Villain (and Personal Favorite Batman Foe) goes to none other than The Joker.

This is my take on the New 52 Joker as thought up by Scott Snyder and (One of the Best Storytellers in the Biz) Greg Capullo.

Also if you didn’t know, the Jokers face has been removed and he now wears his own skin as a mask.

On to Set Two:

The Dark Knight is my pick for The DCUniverse #1 Hero of 2012

Also my ALL Time Favorite DC Character Ever! Frank Miller’s take on the character in The Dark Knight Returns changed my view on Superheroes as a child.

Doctor Octopus is my #1 Villain in the Marvel Universe in 2012.

Also my personal Favorite Spidey Villain Ever! He is currently inhabiting Peter Parkers body and Parker is now dead (again… for now lol)

So to end the year right, I did my TOP 3 Heroes & Villains of 2012.
I know I posted them as a group last night on my Artist page (FB), but here are each individual entry to my TOP 3 Heroes & Villains of 2012 with some notes about each in case you missed it.

First one:
The Web Head is my favorite Hero of the Marvel Universe in 2012. Not only did he end the year on a really crazy note aka Dead (for now), but will ALWAYS be my Favorite Marvel Hero.

I can’t believe Stan “the MAN” Lee turned 90 the other day!

They were meant to be on Sketch Cards but I couldn’t find my blanks lol so typing paper it is!

I Fucking LOVE COMIX! 

Just found out I MIGHT have a chance at a Pin-up in the NEW Poison Elves Series which debuts in March)… and if I blow them away, a possible shot at something else.

To those that know me, PE is my FAVORITE Comic Book Series of ALL time (it’s the reason Dorian has such big fucking ears lol), so I will be working extra hard to make this a reality.

I believe I just found the Spark that’s going to ignite the Creative Fires of my 2013!

(Unless the new PE book sucks of course, in which case I will pretend I never posted this lol)
