The Promo for INTO DARKNESS is Finished!
INTO DARKNESS is the Second in a Series of Mini Comix starring everyone’s favorite Sarcastic Elf, Dorian (MY MONSTER being the first).
I’m excited to finally show this piece off as I’ve been having a ton of fun with it, not to mention Dorian & I figured out quite a bit of his future during the process.

So Harley Quinn’s been put on hold cuz I ended up working on a Sketch of one of my own Female Characters instead lol This is just the rough pencils and will get inked & finished after work this evening.
I haven’t drawn Destiny in a long time, those who know me know she’s as important to my Universe as Dorian is. If I can’t make her look right, I won’t draw her.
Last night I feel like I got her right… finally.
Be easy on me, as mentioned before, I haven’t focused on illustrating the fairer sex in some time, so I’m still getting the hang of choosing the right lines lol

Hey everyone, here’s a Captain America Commission I’m working on. It’s unfinished but wanted to share anyways lol first is the rough pencils then the as of yet unfinished inks.
This is another warmup Sketch I did while working on some Commissions over the weekend.

I’ve never drawn him before so be easy on me, wasn’t intended to be a finished piece but what the hell, I was having fun!
Can’t wait to get back in the Studio tonight to finish what’s waiting for me!
This is for one of the Commissions that I’m currently working on. I like the sketch but decided instead of fucking it up while I’m inking it, I’d print out a blue line of my rough pencils and ink those instead (retaining the original pencils).
f this is “the One” yet either, just messing around.
I haven’t shown anything “progress” oriented before; to my knowledge, and figured you guys & gals wouldn’t mind. I don’t normally do heavy finished pencils on stuff for myself. I have the MOST fun while letting loose during the inking stage, but that also means I tend to make some mistakes I regret later lol
With commissions, I make sure that everything is pretty much in place during the pencil stage and then all that’s left is adding the little details and line work I love to do so much, during the inks.
All the Cap practice also lead to an Avengers sketch I might show later featuring Cap, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk & Fury.

Us Creative folk are a dastardly lot. Some of us have a tendency to come up with really cool ideas, and then keep them to ourselves due to fear that no one will like them…
Oh wait, that’s just me.
I have waited far too long to give this incredibly large Elf a chance to be heard. As you know, he finally got that chance in 2012, but is still holding quite the grudge, and rightly so.
This all changes in 2013.

My #1 Hero overall of 2012 is my own Creation, Dorian TheLock (Pronounced Thee-Lock) star of the Mini Comic, MY MONSTER.
Dorian’s the fucking man (Well, Elf actually but you get the idea).
He was created when I decided I wanted to Self Publish my own Comix many, many years ago. For numerous reasons he remained in sketchbooks and the back of my mind.
Well that all changed in 2012 when Dorian saw print for the first time ever, and come Spring of this year he will be back in your face on a bi-weekly basis…
But I’ll get to those plans soon, cuz next up is Dorian’s Number One Villain of ALL TIME!!!
